After receiving your new board, you may be wondering: What to do after I use it?
DO:
⦁ Use a warm, soapy cloth to wipe all surfaces of the board. It’s important to ensure equal moisture application, as uneven drying could cause board to warp.
⦁ Ensure all soap has been removed.
⦁ Wipe with dry towel.
⦁ Stand on edge/in a rack/against a wall to allow top and bottom to air dry equally.
⦁ Be conscious of foods that can stain. Ex: beets, jams
⦁ If the board begins to lose its shine and look dull, reapply with food-safe beeswax, buff with a rag or towel, and the board will look as good as the day you received it!
DO NOT:
⦁ Put in dishwasher.
⦁ Use steel wool, scour or scrub pads to clean.
⦁ Soak or submerge in water.
